Cadillac to mainline

We started in Cadillac. Not a theory, not a brand deck. A brick shop with a red roof, 2911 on the fascia, Unique Signs Custom Graphics on the pole, and the windows doing the talking: car audio, detailing, accessories, apparel, awnings, banners, wraps, all signs. The front door had Dominator in the flames because that is the line we were already standing on. You walked in off the lot and you were in the lobby: grey plank floor, the corrugated counter, the glass case with the helmets and the WRAPS panel, The Truck Stop banner on the back wall, the plotter under the cover, and the bay through the EXIT where the truck sat. That is where this shop learned to make a thing, wrap a thing, and put audio in a thing for a person who showed up in person.

We had websites before this one. A couple of them. They did what a first site does: they existed, they took a swing, and they did not become the shop. People still found us the old way. Phone. Driveway. Somebody who already knew Matt. The internet was a brochure that went stale, not a counter. Andrew even said it out loud on the About page: he was glad to help with the dream of establishing a website again. That is the honest version. We have been here. The site has not always been.

This time it is mainline. We sat down with the list of potential customers — the people who already know the work, the people who have been waiting on a catalog that does not lie about RMS, the people who will actually put a Dominator in a trunk — and we built this site to hold that list. Shop login. Ride wall. Forum. Catalog that comes off the warehouse feed. Checkout that stays on this page when it is open. Orders that only exist after payment is captured. FAQ if you want the long version of how to use it. The banner up top is because we are still finishing the pay path, not because the shop is a rumor.

The hardware that made this worth doing is still the hardware. Dominator is our 1000 watt RMS series: low Fs, high-temp coil on a thick aluminum former, the motor we will stand behind. Excelsior sits next to it. You can hold the driver, read Excessive Sounds on the cap, and that is the same shop that started in Cadillac with car audio on the glass next to wraps and banners. The difference is we are not hiding it on a half-built site this time. If you were on that list, this is the door. If you were not, Shop and the wall are still open to look. Contact if you want a human. Updates if you want the shop notes. This post is just the path: Cadillac, a couple of websites that did not last, and a mainline shop that will.
